Velocity Global invented the Employer of Record model 10 years ago. 
It lets businesses hire anyone, anywhere, without the red tape of HR headaches or local legal complexities.

Over time, start-ups crowded the space, and the company’s authority began to fade. It needed a brand that could reassert leadership while feeling more human and relatable on a global scale.

We worked with sister agency 21st Century Brand, who defined their foundational strategy. The restage was driven by a new purpose: improve lives everywhere by expanding businesses anywhere. This opened the door to a new name — Pebl — creating ripples of connection. Pebbles are symbols of stability and transformation in many cultures, guiding a design system built from simple, modular blocks that can be stacked, repeated, and adapted across the brand.

Two pebbles form a confident “P” icon, paired with a refined and approachable wordmark. Photography captures real connections: bright, human, and alive, inspired by video call snapshots full of daylight and personality. Along with a warmer, more human tone of voice, the brand is brought back to where it belongs: people.
